Why should I hire a career coach?
There are many reasons you should hire a career coach, primarily to expedite and strengthen your job search! If you've ever written your own resume, you know how frustrating and time consuming it can be to put together.
Career Coaches help provide focus and clarity. Many candidates don't know how to market themselves, or aren't aware of norms when applying to jobs. It makes it harder to land a job when you don't know what to do.
Am I guaranteed to secure a job?
Our clients report outstanding results, with some experiencing fast turnarounds, including next day interviews. While we have a great track record of results, Writer's Block Resumes does not guarantee interviews or job offers from resume packages and other related services.
Writer's Block Resumes is not liable for outcomes resulting from self-service solutions, which include but are not limited to Resume Reviews, Career Conversations, Courses, and Instant Downloads. It is solely the client's responsibility to secure employment. Clients should use all means necessary in securing employment such as conducting a robust job search, securing referrals, networking, leveraging LinkedIn, and other platforms/resources not listed here.
What is your refund policy?
Client understands that all items purchased are instant download or service-based. All sales are final on instant downloads. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that they are selecting the download they intended to purchase. We will not honor refunds or exchanges for any reason. Similarly, service-based (one-on-one) services are custom tailored and are the creative representation of the client. All sales are final once a one-on-one service has commenced. What if I need to reschedule my appointment?
As a one-time courtesy, we're happy to reschedule a one-on-one service for free if requested prior to the start of your appointment. We will give a 5 minute grace period from the beginning of your appointment; however, failure to honor your appointment/request a reschedule will be considered a "no-call, no-show."
Any request to reschedule due to a "no-call, no-show" will result in a $30 rescheduling fee, which must be paid before a new appointment is confirmed. Failure to reschedule and pay the rescheduling fee within 5 business days will be considered a cancellation and will result in a refund minus a $50 cancellation fee. Future requests to work with Writer's Block Resumes will be denied in such an event.
What if I need to cancel my appointment?
When we enter an agreement for any service, Writer's Block Resumes says no to other clients and opportunities. While we understand that complications arise, please do your best to honor your appointment. Cancellations prior to the time service will result in a refund minus a $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations will not be accepted once a service has commenced, meaning you will forfeit your entire payment.
What if I don't like my documents?
You deserve to have documents that you feel confident about and accurately represent you and your experience. We'll work together to do vision setting, so you're clear on the intended outcomes, and you'll have opportunities to give feedback and ensure that the documents are to your liking before the final copies are rendered.
Are there additional fees I should know about?
We do have a fee to revise any order in instances where the client failed to approve their documents, or needs an adjustment on an approved order. This fee usually occurs if it falls out of a 30 window, from the date of your appointment. Please read our terms and conditions in full, where you'll have a more complete window into what to expect.
