Service Description

This package is for RETURNING CLIENTS, who have had their resume done by Writer's Block in the past. Clients may add up to two new positions to their resume, and will receive an updated cover letter. If you have three or more new roles to add to your resume, or are changing career paths and need to revamp your resume to be targeted to those roles, you'll need to purchase a brand new package. Due to numerous factors, we cannot guarantee that your resume will be formatted in the same way it was originally done. Our time together will begin with a 60-minute call, where we'll briefly discuss your career history since we last connected, strategize on the most appropriate next steps for your resume, and explore relevant experience in depth. Next, I'll work on crafting your perfect documents with a 14-day turnaround. You will have the opportunity to preview your updated documents and provide feedback prior to finalization. When complete, you'll receive your resume & cover letter in the format you requested and tips for upkeep for continuous editing.


Cancellation Policy

When we enter an agreement for any service, Writer's Block Resumes says no to other clients and opportunities. While we understand that complications arise, please do your best to honor your appointment. Cancellations prior to the time of service will result in a refund minus a $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations will not be accepted once a service has commenced, meaning you will forfeit your *entire* payment. As a one-time courtesy, we're happy to reschedule a one-on-one service for free if requested at least 1 hour prior to the start of your appointment. We will also give a 5 minute grace period from the beginning of your appointment; however, failure to honor your appointment/request a reschedule will be considered a "no-call, no-show." Any request to reschedule due to a "no-call, no-show" will result in a $30 rescheduling fee, which must be paid before a new appointment is confirmed. Failure to reschedule and pay the rescheduling fee within 5 business days will be considered a cancellation and will result in a refund minus a $50 cancellation fee. Future requests to work with Writer's Block Resumes will be denied in such an event.
